Returns Policy
Effective 22 September 2026 · AMING LIMITED trading as AMING HOSPITALITY.
Before you order
Check the model, dimensions, gas type, electrical requirements, site access and agreed scope in your quote. An enquiry can be withdrawn before an order is accepted. This policy distinguishes discretionary change-of-mind returns from problems with goods or services. Nothing limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Change-of-mind returns and cancellations
We do not offer an automatic 14-day or 30-day change-of-mind return entitlement. After order acceptance, contact us for written approval before cancelling, returning or sending equipment to any location. We consider the supplier's return arrangements, order status, condition and whether the item can reasonably be resold. Customised, special-order, clearance, installed, used or hygiene-sensitive equipment may be ineligible for discretionary returns. These conditions do not remove applicable rights for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
Costs and return instructions
For an approved change-of-mind return, we will explain the return address, packaging, inspection and any reasonable restocking, transport or cancellation costs before you agree to proceed. We do not apply an undisclosed standard percentage. Charges and deductions must be reasonable and consistent with the agreed terms and law, including costs avoided. Do not return equipment to a supplier without an authorisation and confirmed location. Use suitable protective packaging and retain collection or delivery records.
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods
Contact us promptly with your invoice or quote reference, model, serial number if available, description of the issue and useful photographs. Stop using equipment if continued operation could be unsafe or cause further damage. We may arrange reasonable inspection or supplier assessment. We will provide the remedy required by the applicable law and contract; depending on the circumstances this may be repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy. A supplier assessment does not make your rights depend solely on supplier approval.
Delivery damage and missing items
Inspect delivery when reasonably possible, record visible damage on the delivery receipt, retain packaging and tell us as soon as practicable. Prompt reporting helps us pursue freight claims. Signing a delivery receipt, failing to keep original packaging or not reporting within a short arbitrary period does not automatically remove statutory rights. Return or collection costs for a valid fault claim will be handled as required by law and the applicable contract.
Refunds and contact
Where a refund is due, we will confirm the amount, any lawful agreed deduction and the payment arrangement, and process it within a reasonable time subject to applicable requirements. We will not substitute store credit where a monetary refund is legally required. Contact info@aminghospitality.co.nz or +64 278 600 800.
